What is Panologist?

Steelpan to the World

Panologist the word came about a few years ago by Michael C. Smith, president and founder of Leonard Communications. Michael’s love of the Steelpan began at an early age when his god brother Selwyn Sylvester ask him to gather up a few Grapefruit can. He were going to teach him how to tune each note and play them, however his godmother found out, and demanded that he got rid of the grapefruit can “Steelpan playing if for bad johns”, she said. Michael’s desire to play the only acoustic instrument invented on the 20th century did not go away, just delayed. Panologist
